Job Background
To provide full range of HR support to Country Directors and country teams. Operates as Business Partner to Regional Director and management team. To be a key agent in the direction, support and management of change within the organisation and provide senior management coaching on all HR issues.
Job Duties
Leads the development and implementation of the Regional HR strategy, ensuring it is focused on Corporate and Divisional business objectives - with a clear gender perspective Provides HR support to Country Directors and country teams Part of Regional Management Team and Regional Leadership Team Acts as Business Partner to Regional Director and management team, including people strategy Provides professional HR advice to regional leadership team To effectively manage change, particularly following large scale merger (with particular emphasis on people management issues) Responsible for developing and promoting best practice - conceptual skills - legal responsibility - employment law, tax laws etc. Influences in these areas across the organisation Manages Learning & Development within the region, including career development and succession planning to achieve corporate goals Manages posts of HR Advisors, HR Officer and Office Administrator (who manages the admin pool) Leads on organisational development and organisational change, supports region on ways of working, particularly analysis and ways to improve Representation to Global HR & forums Contributes to collective management at top level with collaborative and matrix ways of working as important as the direct line functions

Salary
£25,064 - £34,272 NET salary per annum

Job Qualifications
Professional in Human Resource Management/relevant degree or substantial HR experience (E) Excellent relationship and rapport building skills (E) Ability to inspire trust and confidence (E) Ability to achieve results by influence, persuasion, negotiation and political skills (E) Experience of providing HR leadership at international level (D). Ability to provide leadership and direction on HR issues (E) Proven drive, initiative & resourcefulness (E) Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish (E) French and/or Portuguese would be an advantage (D) Ability to integrate issues of diversity and gender equity across various HR programmes (E) Proven ability in organisational diagnosis, project management, resource management and managing multiple priorities (E) Understanding of the complexities of working in a multicultural environment, particularly LAC region (E) Gender knowledge and cultural sensitivity (E) Proven ability to make appropriate decisions quickly using sound judgement (E) Cross cultural skills & understanding of different programmes or management environments, normally only to be gained by experience of living and working internationally (E) OTHER: Required to undertake unaccompanied travel and operate away from working base for up to 3-4 months per year
