The A-Z of the Recruitment Process

     Our Extensive Candidate Register

We are proud of the calibre of Candidates who have made it on to our Register.

With our global reach, it includes talent from all over the world and we enjoy connecting that talent with jobs that are right for them wherever they may be.

How do we find our Candidates?

A combination of intensive personal networking, advertising and referrals. Once we have established a relationship with a Candidate, we hope that they will make us their first point of call throughout their career.

The more that we get to know our Candidates, the better placed we are to ensure a good fit with our Clients.

Given the global element, it is not always possible to meet all our Candidates face to face; in these circumstances, we would conduct an interview over the phone.

Carefully designed screening interviews help us to establish whether Candidates have what it takes to be included on our Register.

In these, we ask about Candidates' immediate and longer term career aspirations, what they are looking for in a job as well as specific technical questions.

We are also interested in finding out about them as people so that we have a better sense of who they are on both a personal and professional level.

   Taking Instruction From Our Clients

If we have never worked with an organisation before, then we really like to discover as much as we can about them - time and deadline constraints of the placement to be filled allowing.

We aim to understand the mission, the goals, the culture and above all the nature of the people that work for the Client concerned so that we have the best opportunity of meeting their expectations and needs.

We want to be in a position to talk with our Candidates not only about the job in question but also about how it sits within the organisation.

We are aware that each Client is different and calls for an individual approach and we do our utmost to provide this.

                           First Steps

Once we have received the Client's brief, which would usually include a Job Description and Person Specification, we endeavour to come back to the Client with any points that may need clarification or elaboration within 48 hours.

                              New Clients

We would then forward our “Terms and Conditions” to the organisation to be signed by a designated signatory

This is an organisation-wide agreement which we ask all our new Clients to sign.

Our terms are simple: we only get paid when a successful placement is made.

Any work undertaken in the lead up to that - including our Search - is at no financial increment to the Client.

                     Established Clients

We will quickly confirm that “Terms and Conditions” are already in place so that we can move forward with the Candidate Search.

Being Retained as a Sole Supplier

We welcome the opportunity to work as a sole supplier and in this instance our terms would be agreed on a case by case basis.

     Sourcing Appropriate Candidates

We have a number of resources that we call on when endeavouring to source suitable Candidates.

These include searches on our Candidate Register, advertising on our own and other relevant websites and using our extensive network of contacts.

We will then compile a shortlist of Candidates all of whom would have been interviewed by us prior to submission.

There may be occasion when our best efforts do not produce the calibre of Candidates that we believe the Client is looking for in which case we will communicate this to the Client.

Clients can be assured that any Candidate we put forward we believe should be given serious consideration.

                            Interviews

When it comes to arranging interviews, we know every Client works differently so we agree this with them on an individual basis.

          Communication and Feedback

We actively seek and greatly appreciate Client feedback following Candidate interviews because it enables us to become even more effective for the Client in the future.

It also allows Candidates to make the most of the interview process by becoming aware of areas that have been highlighted by the Client which may need further development.
