

Specific areas of intervention include the following:
• Health Systems Strengthening for improved health service delivery
• Primary Healthcare Programs including water and sanitation projects
• Emergency Preparedness and Response including support to national surveillance systems
• CDC projects for HIV, TB, Malaria and neglected diseases
• Construction and Rehabilitation of health facilities and community health infrastructures
They are currently looking for a Country Director who will provide overall leadership, strategic direction and operational management in line with the vision and objectives as lined out in the Strategic Plan for DRC. The Country Director will also assume responsibility for the smooth running and development of the programmes through analysis of the humanitarian context, needs assessments and appropriate responses. The post also includes responsibility at country level for identifying and securing donor funding and an expectation to increase the profile through representation to external actors and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations.
